For a long time the members of the Home Board have been doing double duty. They have also been acting as the Member Relief Board. This board created the by-laws and legislation that put the replacement of the Home Endowment in our code. They worked very hard on behalf of all Michigan Odd Fellows and Rebekahs. At annual Sessions in 2007, both the Grand Lodge and Rebekah Assembly of Michigan passed this legislation. Now that the Home has been sold, the Home Board has officially transformed into the Member Relief Board. They are still working very hard creating all the forms and processes that need to be in place before the program starts. Soon, all lodges will receive the information to be shared with all their members so that anyone who needs to, can take advantage of this new program. This will include copies of the new forms, and intructions on filling them out, and the process to follow to apply for relief. This new program will be a direct benefit to our members.
